Born in 1995 in a small village in eastern Germany, Anne began her physical training as a tiny gymnast and competed for 14 years. During this time she was frustrated by the lack of creativity in gymnastics and easily embraced the openness of the circus world. She started her circus life at the age of 18 at “Die Etage Berlin," and later went on to train at École Supèrieure des Arts du Cirque (Esac) in Brussels, where she specialized in hand balancing. In 2018 she graduated from Esac, accompanied by her invented handstand apparatus “Roland.” She rolls all over the stage in her own mini-universe, pushing her vocabulary of skills and the individuality of her movement.
